ハイキングを楽しむ日
We have been members of the International Club of Rabat (ICOR) since we moved here. Through this club, where English is the common language, we enjoy making friends through participating in various activities. So great to get to know people from all over the world!
ラバト国際クラブに入っている私たち。英語が共通語のこのクラブを通して、世界各国からモロッコ（ラバト）に住んでいる方達との交友を楽しんでいます。
Coffee time, Happy Hour, Darija class, and Karaoke night! And, we especially enjoy hiking time which ICOR organizes.
コーヒータイム、ハッピーアワー、ダリジャクラス、ショッピングデー、カラオケナイト！などなど、様々な企画があるんですが、その中でも私たち夫婦が好きなのがハイキング。
This time, we hiked in Boughaba Lake National Park located in Kenitra. Since we don’t have a car (that is one of the reasons we moved to Agdal – no car life is what we wanted!), getting to the national park itself was already a pretty big event. Wake up early, take a train, then taxi…
今回は、アグダルからちょっと離れたケニトラ市にあるブーガバレイク国立公園でのハイキングでした。車のない生活にあこがれてアグダル生活を選んだと言ってもおかしくない私たち。この国立公園に到着するまでに朝６時に起床、電車でケニトラ駅へ向かい朝食、そしてタクシー、とそこまででだいぶ長い旅でした。
Anyway, it was well worth a visit! Gorgeous lake and gorgeous view. Since it was a weekend, many members with children participated, which made our outing even more fun. We hiked along the lake shore, observing wild birds, and saying hello to MANY sheep. Serious amount of sheep. I wonder if they know that Eid al-Adha is approaching…?
週末だったので、お子様連れのメンバーも多く参加。湖のほとりを歩いて野生の鳥を観察したり、たくさんの羊さん達に出会ったり。この羊さん、そろそろイード·アル·アドハー（犠牲祭）近いよねぇ、、、とふと思いました。
The hills were covered in tiny flowers. It kind of reminds me of Telletubbie Land. For our much-deserved break, we all sat down and enjoyed mint tea, moroccan bread & pancakes, honey, and olives…etc. on the top of the hill. The cool breeze was absolutely wonderful!
丘は小さなお花でいっぱい。なんだかテレタビーの世界。休憩は、丘の上でミントティーや出来立てホヤホヤのモロッコのパンケーキ、オリーブ、はちみつなどなど。涼しい風がとても気持ちよかったです。
My husband likes birdwatching – you can tell that from this picture. After coming back home, he enjoyed this. I’m sure it tasted extra delicious after walking 25000 steps.
旦那さん、鳥が好きなので一生懸命みてました。かわいい。２５０００歩あるいた後のビールは格別においしかったようで、何より何より。
